On January 24 & 25, the TRF415 made a scintillating Japanese debut in the 9^th Yama Yama Cup, a highly competitive R/C touring car race sponsored by professional Japanese baseball player Masahiro Yamamoto of the Chunichi Dragons.

The TRF415 totally dominated the field from qualifying to the finals, finishing 1^st and 2^nd in all 3 rounds of the A Final. 2002 IFMAR World Champion Surikarn Chaidajsuriya and TRF driver Satoshi Maezumi sealed an impressive one-two finish, unleashing on the Japanese R/C world the full potential of the TRF415.
